UGAVINE’S SERIES ONE
Submitted by Curufea on Fri, 18/06/2010 - 12:07By ugavine
2 Minutes
Sherlock Holmes investigates murder on the streets on London in 1880.
The use of Sherlock Holmes has nothing to do with the new movie; rather it is because I know one of the players is both a Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes fan.
TORCHWOOD 6
Submitted by Curufea on Fri, 18/06/2010 - 12:06By The Professor
Origins of Torchwood 6
• Originally created in secret in 1885 by order of the Crown.
• Original purpose was to acquire any found extraterrestrial tech and smuggle it back to Britain.
• Dubbed Torchwood 6 but kept off the books as to its details to prevent spies from learning its location.

1.1: Fall Of The Darl Mell
Earth Orbit, 2056AD
The TARDIS appears between two battling spaceships: the human Belisale and the Selphix* Kaf Quan, the former being a large battleship and the latter a smaller scout ship, and in a bad way.
PLANNING THE SEASON

Despite what feels like an endless term of planning followed by lashings of self-doubt, I move ever closer to running my own role-playing campaign using the new Doctor Who system. With that in mind, I have been concocting a story arc. So, given the common practice seems to be to have a season structured along the lines of thirteen episodes… What I have in mind thus far is:
- Arrowdown
MISADVENTURES IN TIME AND SPACE
Submitted by Curufea on Fri, 18/06/2010 - 12:01By adam500
Brainstorming for my first DWAiTS game I hit upon the idea to use the Celestial Toymaker as an arc villain. In the novels and supplementary material he was one of the Six Guardians of Time (Crystal) and fused into the body of a Time Lord named Rallon. The idea here being that Rallon's body is finally beginning to fail under the strain of containing the Toymaker, but the Toymaker doesn't want to die. The rest of his kind fled reality/died in the Time War. He wants to be around to play his games for eternity.
IZLEAR’S CAMPAIGN SEASON
Submitted by Curufea on Fri, 18/06/2010 - 12:00By izlear
The Arc Word is Ragnarok and the Fenier race (an original werewolf like race) play into it, as they are scowering the galaxy looking for an ancient evil "god" who was imprisoned a very long time ago.
Episode 1- Catacombs of blood
Archaeological dig involving ancient underground civilization. There is an Ancient Vampire and his cult who is trying to revive him. Silurians are also involved, who were ancient servants of the time lords and the caretakers of this "Prison". Characters gain access to a TARDIS
Episode two - Heil Ragnarok
DESIGNING SEASON ARCS

If you look at the major story arcs in the classic Doctor Who series, there are a couple of obvious models that you could use to construct a season arc for a campaign.
